Blacktown City Council is the most populated local government in NSW, and are a keenly aware of their need to address sustainable thinking in all their practices and encourage their residents to play their role.
As part of this initiative Meanwhile Outside was commissioned to showcase some of the projects that BCC environment dept are involved.

Greener Living Expo
In May 2014 BCC ran the Greener Living Expo which essentially was a full weekend of activities. The purpose was to showcase the council’s work and a means to create an awareness to it’s residents of how they can play a role of sustainability and their community.
Meanwhile Outside created the above video from the Greener Living Expo. Two full days of shooting was barely enough time to capture the range of activities and market stands. The head count through the event was said to be around two hundred thousand. The video includes a short motion graphics introduction we created to summarize BCC’s position on environmental change.
